Run with heart. Casa Zanoff is a family-run business, built by us, Andreas and Christina Zanoff, with a great deal of love, passion, and personal dedication. When designing our four apartments, we placed great emphasis on high-quality materials, a cozy atmosphere, and the highest level of comfort, so that you feel at home from the very first moment. Personal service is a matter of course for us. We are available to you at any time during your entire stay. Whatever you need, we will gladly and promptly take care of your request. For your own cozy barbecue evenings, we provide wood and pellets for our barbecue area for a small fee. Our communal barbecue evenings are also particularly enjoyable, where guests and hosts can come together in a relaxed atmosphere, get to know each other, and enjoy their vacation together. This often leads to wonderful conversations and sometimes even lasting friendships. Our two dogs are also part of the Casa Zanoff family. They are friendly, well-socialized, and contribute to making four-legged guests feel welcome as well. The large garden offers plenty of space for relaxation and play for both people and animals. We want you to experience Casa Zanoff not just as accommodation, but as a place you'll want to return to. Our Story
Zanoff family
We are Andreas and Christina Zanoff, both born, raised, and educated in Vienna. Andreas was Head of Development at Mercedes-Benz Brabus in Zagreb and speaks fluent Croatian, Italian, English, and French. Christina is a native Viennese and speaks native English and Russian. After many years in the workforce, we decided to begin a new chapter of our lives in Istria. We lovingly and diligently manage our four apartments in Umag, surrounded by a large garden and just 450 meters from the sea. Your dogs are also very welcome here – any breed, any size.
We have two dogs ourselves. Daisy is already 11 years old and a nanny dog. Vittorio is a puppy and is currently being trained. Upon request, Andreas will accompany you on guided early morning dog walks along paths you wouldn't find on your own, or to excursions in the region, sharing stories about the area along the way. And you won't want to miss these stories, as he knows a great deal about the region's history. Thus, Casa Zanoff combines relaxation with personal experiences and genuine Istrian hospitality.
